Jackie and her Jams
"I began using fresh fruit directly from my Mom's fruit trees in her garden. I started with pie fillings. I would freeze them and offer to make a variety of pies for the holidays. Of course, I had gotten bored with pie fillings and made fruit breads such as raspberry bread, peach bread, etc. Realizing, the breads took too much space in the freezer, I tried for the first time making raspberry jam. What a disaster! My perseverance prevailed and I found a niche. I enjoy creating unique flavors, making jams and selling them. Most of all, I enjoy seeing the surprise reactions from my customers when they taste the flavor combinations."
